1991 Coastal Sportive -Stars & Stripes Ride

Norm Gall (Coastal Sportiv) organized the event. He had ordered up a 70's era Super Huey helicopter for areal photography. That was my lugged Bottecchia with simplex retro friction shifters. Detlif was on his Kestral and Wilhelm was on his sturdy Serrota built lugged Specialized Allez. We pedaled to San Juan Bautista via Eureka Canyon, Hazel Dell and back.
