Christophe was born on December 29, 1973 and won the Mountains Jersey in the 1998 Tour de France. That was the year that Bobby J put both Ullrich and Pantani on the preverbal ropes in the mountains on the Porte, Cucheron, Granier, Grand Cucheron, and La Madeleine.
